What’s the Story Behind This Abandoned Mustang?

It’s rare that you come across a sixties Mustang just sitting on the street for months on end especially in Southern California where classic American cars are typically treasured. But here it is, less than a block away from the Hollywood Freeway near Studio City, just sitting there, rusting away.

Whose is it? No idea.

How long has it been there? Well, at least for the past four years that we’ve been passing through the area.

It’s probably moved a few paces four or five times during that period, which got us to thinking as we approach the 50th Anniversary of the Mustang. With so many personal stories wrapped up into the cars, what’s the one behind this pony car?

We’ve started inquiring around the neighborhood see if anyone knows who owns the car with no success yet.  But in the meantime, we decided to let YOU, our readers, take a stab at guessing what the story is behind this Mustang.
