A Reminder to Hoon Responsibly

Mustang drift feature

There is really only one cardinal rule that governs all sports cars or anything really quite fast. Don’t be an asshat. What I mean by this is, you can put yourself in danger all you want, but as soon as you might put someone else in danger, just stop what you’re doing and throw in the towel. This idiot should have done just that.

I’m all for drifting — I’m all for burnouts, but if you don’t know how to do either, you probably shouldn’t try either, especially on what seems to be a highly used street in one of the former Soviet Eastern Bloc nations because everyone has a dash camera, and from now on your stupidity will live on, on the Internet for everyone to see and laugh at you.

I won’t say, though, that what he tried to pull off wasn’t difficult. Full disclosure: I’ve done this before. Had way too much speed, not enough control and spun my car around and into a field. The difference, though: no one was around.

Like the end of all the Hoonigan videos says, Hoon Responsibly, people!
