The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro checks in at $25,118, while the latest Ford
Mustang GT ducks in under the 25k mark. The Mustang does have a thirst
for gasoline though, guzzling its way through a gallon every fifteen
miles on city streets. As yet, the word isn't out on how much the
Camaro will get through, but there's no reason to expect that it'll be
any more economical.
Both the Ford Mustang GT and Chevrolet Camaro have the same engine capability, throwing 300 bhp out from under the bonnet - you can see how easy it is to get through the gasoline. The big difference is that the Camaro gets that from a 3.6-liter engine, a full liter less than the Mustang. It also has a larger fuel tank by three gallons, which could well mean 70 miles upwards without having to stop after a Mustang has pulled in and refueled. The bouquet and champagne will be withheld until more details are known about the Camaro.
