Slamming on the brakes and feeling nothing is probably one of the scariest feelings you can have as a motorist. Now, experience that while racing, and multiply the pucker factor by ten. We can imagine how the driver of the #52 Boss 302 Mustang must have felt flying out of this corner at full speed.

Luckily he's fine, thanks to the race track having a good run-off area and cushy tires surrounding it. Even after the crash the Mustang doesn't seem too mangled. Can't say the same for the pants of the driver though. Crashes are scary.

Brakes? Who need's em? Tell us what you think of this video in the forums!

Guy Kargl (Thu, 14 Jun 2012 12:37:41 -0700): Wow -- this track accident looks JUST LIKE the damage of the Boss 302 listed on eBay, where a "drunk driver ran it off the road"! http://www.muscularmustangs.com/2011/news0556_wrecked_boss_302.php My guess is the owner took the car out to a road somewhere, and lifted the car to gently roll it over onto the roof -- then made up the story about the "drunk driver". I'd love to do some more research on this -- is the license plate on of the #52 Boss 302 Mustang in this video California plate 6RPN246? http://www.mustangheaven.com/2011/ebay-wrecked-2012-mustang-boss-302-looking-for-new-home/2012boss302wreck-12/
