Earlier today Shelby unveiled its latest Mustang creation at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit - the 2013 Shelby GT500 Super Snake Widebody. We've already told you all the details earlier, including the 3-inch and 6-inch gain in width, front and rear respectively, the 20-inch wheels and tires, and the 850 horsepower supercharged V8.

Now we can proudly bring you live photos of the Super Snake Widebody directly from the show floor at the COBO convention center. You can check out the car in detail in the gallery below, and let us know what you think of the car in the comments section.

Ed DeVoe (Thu, 17 Jan 2013 19:21:21 -0800): Like it from the front, rest of it, eh.
John Santiago (Tue, 05 Feb 2013 07:07:47 -0800): I'm not a Shelby fan...but damn...the car finally has some curves!
Michael Fournier (Tue, 05 Feb 2013 09:41:22 -0800): IF the only difference is a body kit and different offset and wider wheels and tires then not a big deal but if underneath is a race tuned suspension similar to a Griggs suspension then I want to hear more. but I always said the tires on a GT500 never mind the SS were too small (in width.) Also for road racing I would prefer 18 or 19 inch wheels and a lowered body 20 inch wheels are heaver and harder to find racing tires for. Really the only reason besides looks to have larger wheels is to fit larger breaks but most racing break upgrades fit nicely even with a 18" wheel. So I assume they went with 20s for looks.
Sandra Saluti (Tue, 05 Feb 2013 09:57:04 -0800): I dont. You would probably die driving that :) You should at most drive a bicycle!
Daniel Hediger (Tue, 05 Feb 2013 13:41:29 -0800): I like it...
(Wed, 06 Feb 2013 09:51:26 -0800): the windshield graphics are full-fledged cheasy early-80's.
