Vaughn Gittin Jr. Debuts 2015 RTR Formula D Mustang on Ice
This year marks the debut of the newest Ford Mustang, and with that debut, a whole mess of Ford Mustang racecars had to be updated. While most of these updates haven’t been in the public eye, thankfully, Formula D hoon and Mustang enthusiast Vaughn Gittin Jr. doesn’t do anything that isn’t flashy.
In order to debut both his new Formula D RTR car and livery, Vaughn took the new Mustang to a frozen lake, fitted her with some killer studded ice tires, and made many a glorious rooster tail. How glorious? Well, the resulting video, seen below, has some of the best slow motion drift shots I’ve ever seen.
While I haven’t been a big fan of the new Mustang’s design, this 2015 RTR definitely tugs at my heartstrings. The back-end looks to be fixed and the matte black and green wheels are perfect for this car. We can’t wait to see it in action in Long Beach real soon.
