With the continued success of the RTR brand, Vaughn Gittin Jr is looking forward to unleashing his style onto the 2015 Mustang. The RTR crew released teaser images and information on the new RTR and what they are sharing for the new S550 chassis is going to be very exciting.

The 2015 Ford Mustang RTR will be built in Spec 1 and Spec 2 versions that will be serialized starting in January 2015. Not only will the 5.0L V8 gain up to 435 horsepower, the RTR will be making its turbocharged debut with the 2.3L EcoBoost with 310 horsepower. “Ford’s Mustang team has done an incredible job with the new 2015 Ford Mustang,” says Vaughn. “The RTR team and I are pumped to work with such an incredible platform for RTR builds. Without a question, the performance and overall presence of the new Mustang RTR will impress and keep a smile on our customers’ faces whether cruising the streets or getting crazy on the track. I cannot take delivery of mine soon enough!”

The S550 RTR Spec 2 will feature RTR-specific stripes, full-mesh grille with LED halo lights, true aerodynamic chin spoiler, RTR Adjustable Dampers with adjustable sway bars, lighter RTR wheels, large rear diffuser, and the signature RTR rear spoiler. You won’t have to line up at one of the RTR Ford Dealers to get your own RTR, though. RTR components will be available on the aftermarket through MustangRTR.com and American Muscle. However, you won’t get the serialized plate as you have to purchase the RTR from a dealer to get that.
