2016 Mustang Getting Some Cool New Updates
With the new 6th Generation Camaro right around the corner, Ford is doing a few things to tweak the 2016 Mustang ahead of the “other” pony car’s reveal. Don’t get your hopes up for any more power going to the ground, but do get excited about a few other exterior changes and options that are about to put the Mustang up a few pegs. Hopefully.
First off, Ford’s updating all the Sync infotainment systems with the new Sync III. The system has definitely been one of the banes of all Ford’s product lineup. Hopefully, this new fix will finally put all the issues to rest.
Second, Ford will now offer a new paint color: Shadow Black. Although, it’s exactly the same black as the car had before, it just gets a fancy new name.
Lastly though is a California Special Package. While not much is known about the option, it’s likely to involve a new body kit, some interior trimming, and the unique GT/CS stripes we’ve all come to know and love. Also, there might be a blacked out roof option according to Mustang6g, which would definitely be cool. Now if they’d just have a carbon roof option, I’d be all in.
