2016 Shelby GT350 and GT350 R Order Guide Revealed!
Now that we know how much the new Shelby GT350 and GT350 R Mustangs are going to set us back, you probably want to know what configurations it’ll come in and how to properly order the one you want. Luckily, dealerships are receiving their order guides, and we have one here to show you!
First, there’s the base car. From Ford’s notes, it doesn’t appear they plan on selling that many of them. But you do get the lovely Recaro seats, Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, and air conditioning.
If you select 900A w/ 60T, you get the GT350 Track Package. That includes extra cooling for the track, and the wonderful MagneRide magnetorheological ride control dampers.
For those looking for more creature comforts, instead of 60T you can op for 67T, which is the Technology Package. You don’t get the extra track cooling goodies, but you still get the MagneRide magnetorheological ride control dampers, plus satellite navigation, dual zone climate control, and more.
The 920A is the GT350 R, which deletes practically all the creature comforts for better performance. Carbon fiber wheels are standard, and mated to Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
Finally, if you want the track credentials of the GT350 R, but really would like navigation and air conditioning, selecting 67S on your 920A gets you the optional Electronics Package. That adds back SYNC 3 with navigation, premium audio, and a rear-view camera. Plus, you get dual-zone climate control.
