1993 Ford Mustang Cobra

It is getting increasingly difficult to find a Fox Body Mustang that hasn’t been ridden hard and put away utterly destroyed. If you want to up the ante, try searching for a clean, low-mileage 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra that has been left mostly unchanged and unabused. In 1993, just over 114,000 Mustangs were produced, and of that, only 4,993 were Cobras. That’s not very many cars to split between a fan base that has had a chance to grow for 26 years. Especially if you consider the fact that a number of them have been totaled and parted out.

If you are in search of a 1993 Cobra, however, you are in luck. We’ve found one on Bring A Trailer that’s listed as 99% stock. Modified with an Alpine head unit and a Hurst shifter (stock parts included), this Cobra is clean, clean, clean. Mileage is relatively low, at 41,600, but not so low that you wouldn’t want to drive it a couple times a week. And, considering its age, the body and paint are better than one can expect for a car that hasn’t been treated as a collector’s garage queen. The interior looks to be just about spotless too, outside of the to-be-expected lightly worn leather on the driver’s seat.

Located in Framingham, Massachusetts, Matt (the seller) says that the East Coast car has no underbody rust and drives “100%.” Matt also asks us to not lowball him — and really, we shouldn’t. This is a beautiful example of a rare car, and we hope it goes to a home that can keep it in the same above-average condition for another 26 years.

Asking price is $18,700. You can find the original Craigslist ad here.
