Would You Buy a $16k Mustang Golf Cart?

Here’s the thing: some people get really into their cars and their car brands. They get tattoos, posters, pictures of themselves with the car, and a whole mess of other things that are just a bit weird. They also tend to spend loads of money on things that aren’t their car, but remind them of their car. This next item is one of those things and you’d really have to be a mad Mustang fan to get it.

Here we have a brand new golf cart inspired by the 2015 Ford Mustang and built by Caddyshack Golf Cars of Palm Desert, California. It has headlights, taillights, brake lights, and turn signals that work. It has 12-inch SVT aluminum wheels, and a 48V electric drivetrain that tops out at 19 mph. It will also go 35 miles on a single charge before it dies, which is pretty impressive.

Here’s the rub though, this golf cart, again I say golf cart, costs as much as a base Fiesta. Caddyshack Golf Cars is now offering this Mustang Golf Cart for the insane price of $16,000. Like I said, it’s a golf cart that costs as much as a real car. Now I’ve got to ask, would any of you cop to wanting or actually purchasing one of these things?
