Shelby GT500 Goes 193.6 mph At The Texas Mile

With just bolt-ons, Derek Venable took his 2013 Shelby GT500 to 193.6 mph from a standing start in just one mile at the world famous Texas Mile land-speed racing event (LSR). How’s that for impressive? The stock car went 174.7 mph, which is impressive, but the RevanRacing.com bolt-on mods added 150 whp and 19 mph in the standing mile.

Monster Ford Makes 2000 hp @ 9000 rpm Naturally Aspirated

JPC-built Coyote Spins to 8200 rpm and Makes 500 whp With the Stock ECU

Who said the stock S197 computer can only handle 7750 rpm? Not JPC, because here’s proof: A pull to a sky-high 8200 rpm en route to 507 hp at the wheels! Although JPC claims that bolt-on stock Coyotes will pull up to 7750 rpm with ease, this car has an RGR/JPC built block with ported heads, aftermarket cams, full exhaust, a BOSS 302 intake, L&M throttle body and JLT CAI. Seriously, the Coyote motor is something else!
