For the second year in a row, Military AutoSource and ROUSH Performance have created a special-edition Ford Mustang just for those serving in and with the U.S. Military on overseas bases.
It’s a celebration of the man who helped put Ford performance on the map. Carroll Shelby’s birthday is this Sunday, January 10, and while he may not be with us any longer, his cars and ideas certainly are.
Judging from Ford’s press release about the 2016 Petty’s Garage Mustang GT King Edition models, it seems Richard Petty’s going after the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
“This is a special day for all Mustang enthusiasts. We have taken the GT350 formula to the next level of innovation, style and performance. Today the legend continues.”
“With over 435 horsepower and 400lb-ft of torque on tap, the Hooker Headers Blackheart Mustang is sure to impress and get it done at the track… And you could win it!”
