Ken Block’s Gymhana Four Will Knock Your Socks Off!

Wow, talk about production value! When did car videos start getting special effects? And dance sequences? As impressive as the production quality is though, the driving itself is still the star of the show in DC Shoes’ recently released Ken Block’s Gymkhana Four; the Hollywood Megamercial.

Man, if this doesn’t make you want to drive fast and take chances, nothing will. And not to be controversial or anything, but it might even make you wanna drive a Ford Fiesta, if you’re not careful.

When Ken starts donutting through moving fork-lifts in his Ford Fiesta Hybrid Function Hoon Vehicle (H.F.H.V.), you realize this is more than just impressive driving, it’s impressive choreography – the likes it takes a spot-on director to coordinate. And that’s just what Zombieland director, Ben Conrad, delivers: a finely choreographed, high-speed jaunt around Universal Studios in Hollywood, complete with zombies, explosions and a Bollywood style dance number.

But I’ll tell you what, I don’t care who it is, if someone directs me to dress up like an ape and go stand on a ladder just to let Ken Block drift us off our block, I’d tell that director to kindly get a new monkey.
