Mustang Club of America Aims for Record Breaking Parade

MCA Parade

The Mustang Club of America is looking to make history twice this Labor Day Weekend.

The first will be the celebration of the organization’s 40th anniversary. And the second will be trying to break the record for the longest Mustang parade. Of course, the 40th anniversary celebration is pretty much a given, as the Mustang Club of America is making their final preparations for the September 1 – 4 event being held at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The parade, on the other hand, will require organizers to get more than 766 Mustangs to attend the parade. Apparently, that 766 number is the current record, according to ClassicCars.com.

However, the MCA’s 40th Anniversary won’t just be about breaking records. There are a host of activities being planned for the event as well, including track sessions, ride-and-drives, and MCA’s annual banquet with special guests and honorary speakers. Proceeds from the event go to Cherubs and Riley Children’s Hospital.

So, if you’re interested in being a part of history, this might be your shot.
