New Mustang Debut Date Announced!

It looks like Christmas will roll in a lot earlier than expected this year for Mustang fans.

Ending months of speculation of exactly when the new Mustang, Ford has announced that they’ll take the wraps off the highly anticipated new model on Dec. 5.

The announcement was made in a series of videos posted on the Mustang’s YouTube Channel Nov. 19, as part of the “Mustang Inspires” campaign revving up for the car’s 50th anniversary.

News of the Dec. 5,  debut came on the opening press day for the LA Auto Show in which Ford’s Jim Farley, VP of Global Marketing, joined other auto execs for the Connected Car Expo to discus the future of car connectivity.

Despite some of the challenges Ford has faced with features like its SYNC infotainment system, the new Mustang is expected to be one of the most technologically advanced sports cars in its segment when it hits the street.

But for now all eyes will likely be glued to the internet waiting for more information on that Dec. 5 debut.
