A teen in Oklahoma has earned himself a spot in Mustang news, and some jail time as well.

According to the FOX 25 news report below, 19-year-old Hector Fraire was arrested after being caught driving a 2011 Mustang over 200 mph on a public road.

Apparently, the entire ordeal started when an Oklahoma State Trooper clocked Fraire doing 84 mph on the Kilpatrick Turnpike and attempted to pull him over. A police pursuit ensued, with the Mustang driver reaching speeds as fast as 208 MPH, according to authorities.

The speeding 19-year-old even turned off the car’s lights while trying to ditch police.

In fact, had it not been for a local deputy being in the area, it sounds like Fraire might have gotten away.

Instead, the 19-year-old will face charges for reckless driving and attempting to elude police. We’re just happy that no one was hurt.
