If you own a Mustang from the 2005 to 2014 model years, expect a notice soon from Ford to take your baby into a Ford dealership.

The carmaker has announced a huge recall on Mustangs from those years, which includes one million vehicles in which the car’s driver side air bags could potentially explode, according to an ABC News report.

It appears the airbags made by Takata Corp., can inflate with far too much force, releasing shrapnel into the cabin.

Ford initially called back 500,000 Mustangs for the faulty air bag system in December, but was forced to expand the recall after Takata found more vehicles in which the air bags could explode.

The recall also includes Mustang GTs from the 2005 and 2006 model years.

The good news, as is the case with most recalls, is that Ford will be replacing all the airbags for free, as they should.
