Power Wheels Mustang Goes High-Tech
It’s clear that the s550 Mustang isn’t the only model being beefed up with a number of new features.
The popular Fisher-Price Power Wheels Mustang model has also gotten a few high-tech updates as well, in the form of a new system known as Smart Drive, which includes the first computer-controlled powertrain.
The system, developed in partnership with Ford, adds several new high-tech features, including traction control, stability monitoring, digital speed control, and battery monitoring — as well as a slow start and stop feature, according to AboutMustangs.com.
The new Power Wheels Mustang’s features are said to provide kids with the same feeling as driving a Mustang GT. Well, other than having a 400-plus horsepower V8 under the hood, which would obviously pose a few safety issues for kids.
Then again, we’ve certainly come across our fair share of videos that show a 400-plus horsepower Mustang is too much for some adults as well.
