More 2015 Mustang Renders

2015 Mustang Render

Another day, another batch of speculative renders of the 2015 Mustang. I don't blame them. Ford has done exceptionally well at hiding the design of the next-gen stang. Besides the spy shots people have captured of the car out testing, there've been no real solid leads on what the thing will actually look like.

I'm assuming these most recent pics are based around the prototypes that've been spied testing. Honestly, I'm not sure how they got so much detail from a car that looks like it was wrapped in garbage bags before it went out. Still, their guess is as a good as any.

Let me know what you think of these shots in the comments!

Alex Corona (Sat, 07 Sep 2013 13:39:03 -0700): well I don't like the 2011 style tail light. I thought the 13 14 tail light design was the biggest improvement to the body style thus far. curious about the rear bumper and exhaust tip as well, is the bumper painted black where the tip is or is there a hole there?
James Cody Perry (Sun, 08 Sep 2013 10:15:03 -0700): Well I guess the best thing we can hope for is that the aftermarket companies fix this with a better bumper cover.
Chris Jeansonne (Tue, 10 Sep 2013 15:22:08 -0700): Um, hold on here. Is this what is supposed to be the BIG secret? Not that great of a change to me from the current model. the side view is virtually the same with minor changes. I think I will be holding on o my nickels a little longer if this is it. I still think you all have I wrong and the car is going to be much different than expected.
Cory Swinerton (Tue, 10 Sep 2013 15:53:37 -0700): Needs a small spoiler..
Brian K Emp (Tue, 10 Sep 2013 16:08:45 -0700): Back end needed reworking in 2010 Its not improving. Rest may be ok, but with an ass like that it had better be fast.
Juan Hurtado (Tue, 10 Sep 2013 16:12:52 -0700): Very cool looking
Roger Sunderland (Tue, 10 Sep 2013 16:23:06 -0700): Too busy from the mid-section down, all around.
Casa Del Gatos (Tue, 10 Sep 2013 17:04:30 -0700): Meh, continues the trend I didn't like in 2010. Too girlish in the rear end. The front is interesting, but with headlights like that ... I do NOT think "Mustang." Too soon to tell though, will have to see the first ragtop. Love my '07 GT/CS Vert!
Tom Testa (Tue, 10 Sep 2013 17:22:47 -0700): I think it looks too much like current car; and needs to be a little slimmer
Tony Adair (Tue, 10 Sep 2013 17:32:02 -0700): Looks better than the other euro looking renders that I have seen. For all those that want to see it change so's a a honda! Leave the Mustang alone!
Frank Barnard (Tue, 10 Sep 2013 17:39:39 -0700): Actually like the "Fastback" rear and looks like they're banking on the grill to retain the STANG look. Too bad dodge already pretty much stole the grill....
(Tue, 10 Sep 2013 17:50:24 -0700): Looks good, but kind of dumb to use the 2011, 2012 hood and rear as your inspiration when Ford did away with those awesome lines in 2013 with the generic hood. I would say there is no chance it will actually look like that.
Mario Ruggier (Tue, 10 Sep 2013 17:58:41 -0700): Front end lower "nostrils" are proportionally out of whack, They are almost cloned off a Lambo marceleggo, especially the pitch angle they carry on the outside. The rear end looks good, and a good way, over all looks good, but those nostrils just gotta go, after all it's a Mustang not a lambo! That body style would work if it was packing a 5.0 coyote engine, not so much with a 4 banger 3 or 4 pound boost turbo.
Eddie Alvarez (Tue, 10 Sep 2013 18:02:12 -0700): I don't many people have been thrilled about the rear since 2010!
Keith Wozniak (Tue, 10 Sep 2013 19:10:51 -0700): Looks like a fast fusion...shame
Toby Barnes (Tue, 10 Sep 2013 19:26:33 -0700): I don't like the side and rear skirt as they are. finish looks cheap. Rear bumper looks to high and lights to small. Big ass end. cars lines are good and the front grill is nice but everyone is doing that frown grill / Evo look. I'ld rather see a cold air intake under the front grill and less is more. Speed adjusting rear spoiler for stability. Reduce the drag under the car like they did with the Mini to improve the MPG and speed. Lower the license plate.
Charles Xavier (Tue, 10 Sep 2013 20:38:18 -0700): That rear end is getting uglier and uglier...glad I left ford.
Yaser ALhussayen (Tue, 10 Sep 2013 22:25:52 -0700): U should c the other leaked fotos, its a lot worse. Im glad i got اخر اللي فيهم خير
Christopher Rife (Tue, 10 Sep 2013 22:40:03 -0700): I think its ugly and I there isn't a mustang I dislike besides Cobra II.
Jon Harbour (Wed, 11 Sep 2013 06:49:06 -0700): The hood is wrong, it looks more like the leveled Taurus hood, not the avalanche-prone slide shown here.
Mike Cianelli (Wed, 11 Sep 2013 07:50:02 -0700): Hope they keep the rear window like that.
Kyle Allan (Wed, 11 Sep 2013 12:14:36 -0700): I like the front end and the rear is okay for me....but I still would rathar fprd wemt the same route dodge and the challenger did...make it look like the old late 60s model They should replicate the 69 or 70 stang bodystyle
Alden Kaplan (Wed, 11 Sep 2013 18:07:18 -0700): they've put a taurus front end on the mustang.... absolutely disgusting. both the front and rear lights need an upgrade, it's a muscle car, not a futuristic flamer car.
Dakota Bramhall (Wed, 11 Sep 2013 18:49:06 -0700): Either way mustangs are gross ... Can't really solve that issue
Maureen Von Der Bruegge-Siron (Wed, 11 Sep 2013 20:04:04 -0700): It looks more like a family car than the road eating 2013 Mustang GT500 Sheby Cobra we have. Don't care for the front end at all. Rear view is downright ugly! Sorry will keep our 2013 and go from there to a 2014 Corvette!!!
Mike Elsbury (Fri, 13 Sep 2013 09:04:13 -0700): So is Ford letting KIA design this thing?
Andy Greer (Sat, 14 Sep 2013 06:50:43 -0700): That's in a bad way...not bad as in cool...bad as in just plain bad...looks like a Toyota with a mustang emblem..
(Mon, 23 Sep 2013 08:44:44 -0700): That's not the taillights being used, thank goodness!
Arturo Rios Jr. (Mon, 23 Sep 2013 13:55:50 -0700): The front has already been exposed see here.
