Since Ford’s Coyote V8 was introduced, it’s been tuned to within an inch of its life. It’s gone from a lowly 300 horsepower, to the ungodly 662 horsepower Shelby GT500. However, what else is there to do with this motor? Ford replaced the Coyote in the GT350 twins with a flat plane crank engine, leaving the future of Ford’s awesome V8 a bit murky.

Well, if you’re the guys over at ProCharger, then you know exactly what to do with the motor. Slap a supercharger on it and scream with both joy and terror, because this bad boy makes a whopping 1,225+ horsepower.

Yes, the Kansas City based company is now offering a ProCharger Stage 2 system for the 2015 Ford Mustang that makes 1,225 horsepower. This comes from the S2 Intercooled supercharger system that breaks the sound barrier, and the drag strip with a sub-7 second quarter mile.

While the price is still not released, ProCharger is already shipping the unit out to customers who could care less about price, and more about speed. What makes this kit even crazier is that the blower is only running at 9psi, which is small potatoes when you’re dealing with 1,225 horsepower.
