“Guys don’t drive V6 Mustangs.”

“Why didn’t you buy a manual?”

“That isn’t a real Mustang.”

Chances are if you’re a dude and own a Mustang V6 with an automatic transmission, you’ve been hit with one of those statements more than once. It’s one of those stigmas that’s haunted the V6 variant of the Ford pony for years.

In fact, even in today’s world of 300-horsepower V6 Mustangs, there are still some who will argue that it really isn’t a true Mustang unless it’s a GT. However, a video posted by those crazy guys at Regular Car Reviews makes a pretty strong case for why V6 owners should be just as proud of their Mustang as everyone else.

The clip specifically focuses on Mr. Regular’s own 2004 Mustang SN-95 model in a way that only Regular Car Reviews can deliver a review.  But in some ways I think it’s safe to say he speaks for an entire culture of automatic V6 Mustang owners.
