Shelby 1000 Goes Off the Chain in the Desert

This video was done to promote a watch by David Yurman. Revolution Shelby 1000 is a timepiece branded with Shelby badges, and I’m sure it’s great. But I don’t really care. If I want to know what time it is, I look at my phone, and if I was going to spend more than ten bucks for a wristwatch, I would save my pennies–for like a decade or so–and get a Rolex Submariner. That’s what James Bond wore, and that makes it the coolest watch you can get. But watches aside, this video is awesome, because it’s mostly sweeping shots of Carroll Shelby’s most powerful Pony ripping it up in the desert. This baby accelerates like a slot car, and it’s amazing to see.
