If you own a Mustang that was built between 2005 and 2014, you might have a defective Takata airbag installed and your car is about to be recalled. This recall is part of an expansive 1.4 million Ford vehicle recall covering the defective Takata airbags. In an accident, instead of saving your life, the airbag might fling life-threatening shrapnel instead. Not fun.

Here’s a list of all of the affected vehicles:

2005-2014 Ford Mustang vehicles built at Flat Rock Assembly Plant for driver side airbag inflators;
2005-2006 Ford GT vehicles built at Wixom Assembly Plant for driver side airbag inflators;
2004 Ford Rangers built in North America at Edison Assembly Plant and
2004-2006 Ford Rangers built at Twin Cities Assembly for passenger side airbag inflators.

The Ford recall is part of an industry-wide set of recalls relating to the airbags. With over 32 million total recalls, the Takata airbag fiasco is the largest recall in US history.
