More Video of the Shelby GT350R in Action

It seems like we certainly missed out on all the fun here.

Apparently, Ford recently hosted an event for members of the media, giving journalists an opportunity to get a few hot laps in the passenger’s seat of the 2016 Ford Shelby GT350R Mustang around Grattan Raceway, just outside of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

And while we’re definitely bummed about not making the list, the upside is that there are enough quality videos circulating of the new Shelby on the track that you can still get a pretty good feel for all the action. Take for example, the first clip posted by Automobile Magazine that provides a few different views of the car roaring around the raceway.

It’s all pretty thrilling to watch but when the driver pushes out of that turn at the 1:36 mark, racing down the straightaway, it really makes you wish you were riding shotgun.

The second video, while a bit enhanced in some areas, leaves you trying to catch your breath after watching it.
