GT350 or GT350R: What’s Your Pick?

GT350R

There definitely won’t be any settling this debate anytime soon. Then again, whether or not you think the Shelby GT350R is worth $10,000 more than the GT350 might really boil down to how much time you plan on spending roaring around the track.

After all, that’s about the only place that you can really appreciate the performance features of either new Shelby model.

As you can see in the video below, a guy by the name of Alexander Salomon has a slightly different view after taking both models for a normal drive, as highlighted in a Carscoops report. Three of the things that seemed to stand out most for Salomon were the GT350R’s bucket seats, steering wheel, and adjustable magnetic suspension.

Oh, and if you’re wondering who Alexander Salomon is, you’re not the only one. We were a little puzzled as to why Carscoops put so much value in his opinion. But apparently he owns a fleet of cool cars including a Pagani Huayra and a Porsche 918 Spyder, which I guess makes his opinion worth a listen.

But with a collection like that, what’s another $10K for a higher trim anyway?
