Please help This Car is driving me nuts. Sometimes it will Crank and run for awhile and then die. Somtimes it won't crank at all. I have had it towed 2 times and as soon as it came off the wrecker it crank right up. I have had the fuel pump replaced fuel filter replaced. new ignition module, injectors cleaned and check Mass air cleaned and checked. i have noticed when u crank it if the check engine line goes off it will crank if it doesnt u can crank it till the battery goes dead and will never crank.. thanks for any suggestion u might have

Might be a short somwhere. Check your lines.

my 95 did the exact same thing try this, ok get in ur car and turn the key like where the radio and things like that come on and count to like 10 and then try and cranking it. if starts its ur fuel pressure regulator

Check all the wires going to the starter, there is one black push on wire that if it is makeing a bad conection it wont crank or click at all. That was bad on mine. Just pull it off clean if off and put it back on if that fixes the problem then just cut the wire and put a new connector, and hook it up.

The car has a computer. Plug in a code reader and see what comes up.

i had the same problem and i went to my local mechanic and he as well change every little logical thing he thought possible.. so i went to the ford dealer.. it end up being that a pick up sensor wasnt working.... i dont know if this can help u

could be the neg battery cable that goes down to the block, they are known for going bad

check the wires to the plug for your coil power, 1 of mine was corroded and almost broken off.

i forgot to tighten a ground cable on my starter when i replaced my clutch that did the same thing some times it would start other times.. it would not..

the cable going to the starter is a power wire, the ground for the starter is the block
