4.10 Gears in 94 Mustang GT
I was thinking about putting 4.10's in my 94 Mustang GT. I just have stock highway gears in it right now. What kind of difference will there be? If I am a daily driver and I want to be a weekend racer, is this a good move? and should I do any other mods for the engine to handle the 4.10's?

If your auto yes, if your mannual NO, If your Mannual I would say the highest of 373's if your Auto do 410's. My Mannual at 80mph is at 2400 rpms.....If your a daily driver you will kill your gas.....

If it's an auto, 4.10's are the way to go. You will have a very noticable increase in torque and acceleration over the stock gears. You will sacrifice some gas mileage though. If it's a stick, go w/ 3.73's.

My boyfriend bought a 82 Mercury Capri to part out and he was going to sell me the 4.10's out of it for a very low price. Where would I get GOOD 3.73's at a decent price? bc I dont have much money! lol How much do the 3.73 gears usually cost?

i think there about 150-200 and about 300 for install.. your engine will handle the gears. i think gears are the best upgrade to get for your car for the price. and you will def feel a difference
