331 block clearance?
Hey do you have to do any block clearancing*sp with a 331 stroker with the stock 95 block? Any info on this would be helpful, can you do it yourself or would it be best to take it to a shop.

RE: 331 block clearance?
I clearance my own block. Not that hard. Took like 15 min with a carbide die grinder. I bought a jig from eBay that bolts where the mains do and shows you where to grind.
The 347 kits usually uses a 3.4" stroker.
Most 331's use a 3.25"?
I know if I didn't clear the block it would've hit.

RE: 331 block clearance?
Just search like, "347 331 clearance tool", or something. I believe it's TRE performance that sells them. They are a little overpriced for what they are but worth it saving the cash instead of having a shop do it. I also used some articles on the net for refrence also.
To install the "kit" is just like installing a lower rotating seembly, nothing special there.
