I have one. Not bad for the money. The casting could be a little better and I had to slightly modify my fuel rail for it to fit. Other than that, I like it.

I read somewhere that you had to match the gasket to the intake. I guess you gotta grind the intake down a bit to get an exact fit. Is that what you meant about the casting?

cool thanks man. I think I will be getting the satin finish pretty soon here. I just got my gears done and well you know how it goes, the more you feel the more you want!

you wanna make some serious power go and have the lower ported and gasket matched to the heads. The runners are kinda rough, but good intake for the money in my opinion. Im perfectly happy with mine, i just wish i had a satin finish, i dont care to much for the polished version. So i just scotch padded the whole thing till it was a dull finish, now i like it.

you get what you pay for.
my number 5 and 6 runners needed about a quarter inch taken off the inside of the ports on the upper intake side, not the head side.
it took a couple of hours to port it, but overall I should have just bought the edelbrock one, or the trickflow.
after a year my side cover is leaking oil and a slight vacuum leak.
had to use helicoils for all the lower bolt holes.
they stripped easy at only 24 ft/lbs.
