how do i go about finding out what kind of heads that i have, they were in my garage with a couple of ford blocks and i konow the guy was a 5.0 mustang guy, what i'm getting at is if i could use these on my 1974 351w to make some more hp. i found some casting marks, in no particular order,T58, 9K19, E?TE, 19758 arranged in a circle

if they say E7TE those are e7 heads off a stock 5.0

You may want to look at the numbers on the 351 Windsor heads. If they are D0AE, D1AE, D2AE, D3AE, D4AE they may have the better quench style combustion chamber and the 1.84 inch intake valve vs the E&TE 1.78 inch intake valve. The early 351 Windsor heads can make decent power.
