3.90 gears?
Need help deciding on rear gears for the 02 gt. I want the 4.10's but i think its gonna be too extreme for daily driving i like the 3.73 but dont know if its gonna be enough. Does anyone have 3.90s or know a good reliable manfactuar that does? The gt is used mainly as a daily driver but i also want to have to ability to stomp camaros at the light.

RE: 3.90 gears?
I have 3.90 - Motive is the company that makes em.. I had the same concern... and people don't realize there is a bit of a differance between 4.10 and 3.90 even if it's not much... my stepbrother has almost the same exact things done that I do.. he just doens't have tb/plenum... and another car that a friend has that also has 3.90's.. and i drove them and I just liked the 3.90's all around better... It does pull a bit harder in high 3rd/4th gear then the 4.10's... normally my stepbrother shuts down after 3rd gear.. but i can race until top of 4th and still have good pull.. I know better then him. I am very glad that i went with my 3.90's... if it wasn't a DD i'd have dropped 4.30's though, haha.

RE: 3.90 gears?
I know I didn't say anything that there wasn't... I just preferred the way the car pulls in the higher gears... I drove almost 2 identical cars, one with 3.90's and one with 3.73's before I got my gear installed - and liked the way the 3.90 motives felt.. I think i'd have been impartial and that's why I went with the 3.90s... and even though there's not much of a differance in gears.. my stepbrother has pretty wide 18's on his car with alike mods, and i have 275/40 - 17's on my car and he actually knows how to drive... but spins a lot more then I do... and even said that my car spins a lot less then his even though he has the wider tires, and i spin like crazy in his car... the only other major differance is that he's a 2003 and im a 2004 - which isn't a major differance at all. Hey but maybe it's all in my head... dunno (not sarcasm)...
