I belive I said may have voided the warrenty.

All you guys slapping on mods and all kinds of after market stuff that was not installed by a Ford dealer are risking voiding parts of your warrenty,you can quote anything you want off Sema you had better look at what the says about what says.

It basicly says that they cannot void it if the part/mod did not do the damage,so here you are at a Dealer with engine codes and probloms and they see some S/C on it and they say we are going to void your warrenty becuse it was not installed or approved by Ford,ok now YOU have to prove it,not them YOU, was not S/C that did it, now you need a a lawyer and a good S/C shop to and GOD knows what elese to back up your claim how much would that cost?

You can't just go to diffrent dealer and think there going to fix it,all that info goes into a data base they look in before doing any work,guess what? It will be in there the your warrenty is voided,you can yell, cry, curse all you want they won't care.

I am not putting any modding down,heck I plan to do it but I am going to ask my dealer first and find out if it will or not,if it needs to be installed by them fine I will pay the xtra cash,if they say no I will wait till the warrenty runs out,part of the cost of the car is the warrenty,it's your money do what you want to do.

I am not saying this is what they will do but they can pull this crap on ya,there are tons of post on warrentys and some get away with it some don't,if you have the cash to replace an motor do what you want ,if not check into it before you go mod crazy.
