Juggy: Haha, of course buying a 5.0 wouldn't be a good idea if you wanted a Turbo 2.3, but this project just seems costly. Now granted i don't know that much about 2.3 IL4s, but a motor/tranny swap is still a motor/tranny swap at the end of the day.

the swap is not that hard or costly. i would just stay automatic because it's not worth the hassle and you'll stay spooled the whole time because you don't have to let off to shift
