Hey guys, I have an 88 5.0 HO and i was wondering if anybody knew the stock horsepower and how much horsepwer a GT40 upper engine kit would add to it? Can anyone help me??

I think there is 225 ponys and the gt-40 would and much with out maf and TB. but after u add that should gain about 25-30 more ponys.

Mass Air Flow sensor, and throttle body. I thought the GT40 kit would give more like 50 hp. Am I wrong.

you are talking about the upper nd lower intake right? or with heads as well?

with heads it would have alote more power if only intake then around what i said

yeah the upper and lower intake, not the heads...what size of TB would you recomend? And is there a certain type of MAF that is better than others?

well i wanna keep it street legal but i wanna go hit state street and show up some rice burners with out hesitation...and i plan on gettin a supercharger down the road but for now i am just trying to get some good HP for not alot of money.

well u should get gears

3.73 if u got manual or 4.10 if u got auto

get a good exhaust, 65mm TB, 73mm MAF
