I actually ran one at the track not to long ago. He sucked at driving i beleive cause the only ran a 14.3 and i ran a 14.4. Not saying all cobras of those years run that Just saying from my experience.

stock vs stock, they are both equal in the 1/4.. (14.0's to 14.2's or so)
but once the modding starts, (i would assume particularly gears) the torque curve in the 4v 4.6 becomes less of an issue and can walk all over an equally equipped GT

when i first got my car, me a friend of mine whos got a cobra, raced. both of us were stock and i hung with him. we did a 50 drop and he got me by like 1/4 of a car length. the part that sucks is that he has just an exhaust and cai, and he can keep up with me somewhat. it makes me mad, but its a 2v what more can u expect.

according to www.svt.ford.com (before they redid the whole website for the Shelby) SN95 Cobra = 13.9... I BURNED one in my car before i got my headers... My moms bf has one... bolt on GT>Cobra... responding to mods Cobra>GT.... Looks New Edge GT>SN95 Cobra (imo) - stock 4 stock.. Cobra can have a decent run and break a 13... GT NEEDS an awesome run
