Default 2007 Mustang GT intake cover installed!

I got back from Byron and what was waiting on the porch, my new cover!
I'm a little pissed at a scratch that is on it, so I need to discuss that with the guy I bought it from also, the front mounting holes require smaller bolts in front which the '06 doesn't have.
I need to get the ones used for the '07. Anyway, here are pictures, let me know what you guys think ok?

Very Nice. Although I wish it wrapped around the intake runners and went down a little further to make it look like it's "more" of a part of the manifold. Love the pony and powered by ford. Big selling point to me.

I like the cover. I wanted a custom painted red cover with the silver pony on it, but didn't want to pay the amount Midwest wanted for theirs. What website can I find that at and how much do they cost?

I bought it on eBay for $150.00.

That looks great. Is there anything special about it from the original Ford part? The reason I ask is that you can by them from http://www.fordparts.com for $58.85 including ground shipping. The part number is 7R3Z-6A949-AA.

Also, not to hijack the thread but how do you like your Tunable Induction CAI? This is the one I'm thinking of going with. I heard that in some installs the sheild can tear at the under hood blanket. Any problems with that? PM me if you don't want it to be part of the thread. Thanks.

At a price of about $59 shipped I think it's an excellent buy! It's the main reason I didn't go in on the Midwest group purchase. After seeing a pic of this one in that thread I thought this one looked nicer and if I want to have it painted I can always have that done at the same time as a duck tail or whatever. It's not like you can't do without it if you have to remove it for awhile to be painted.

One question, is it metal or plastic?

One answer, plastic. Nobiggy because that's what you're covering up anyway. I just ordered one of them myself. I think when Ford catches on how quickly these things are going out the door I wouldn't be surprised if they jack the price up.
