Hey guys, I just read that you can fit 22-inch rims in a mustang, is this true? Well not sure if all 22 inch, the Senna from MB Wheels is only made in 22s they say it fits the mustang, if so will there be any problems if you add a pro-kit?

Stock tire height is about 27.5 inches, and a 22 inch rim in reality should measure about 23.5 inches to the edges (my 20's measure 21.5 to the edge)

So 27.5 minus 23.5 is 4 inches, or a 2 inch sidewall. I wouldn't want to drive that car.

But anyway, keeping the stock tire height, you would have no problems lowering. It makes no difference if your car has 15's or 22's.

I think that if you get about a5 or6in. body lift the 22's would fit nice!

i've seen one worse tho. ya'll all know those box capri's and stuff raised up on 24's and all. i saw a '71 Mach 1 on 26's i didn't have my camra at tha time. but trust me it was the uguliest thing i ever saw. and plus it was against all mustang laws.

March issue of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords has a picture of a Mustang with 22" wheels on an ad on page 56.

They are called O.Z. Giotto III.

Tire looks like it's about 1" thick.
