Do you guys think I should invest in stripes as well when I buy my body kit? I was thinking about black stripes. It's a 06 GT Torch Red Vert w/Black Top. But the stripes just seem a little pricey IMO. Unless I'm looking at the wrong place to buy them. I kind of like the clean look. Decisions, decisions...

Black stripes would look good. I was happy with my stock color until 2 more red convertibles arrived in my neighborhood. I changed mine to be unique.

Baltimore Street Mods. Don't know what pricey is for you but that is where most people get them. I saw black strips on a white vert and it looked pretty solid.

Black stripes would look good becouse of the black top. Otherwise I don't like black stripe on Torch Red hardtops.

Thanks for the replies guys (and gals Margarita that looks very impressive on your GT. I wouldn't mindwhat you havebut in addition I'd love to add a black hood scoop like Aziraphale's. Azira, thank you for that site. That was very helpful. I was looking at sites that was asking up to 135.00 dollars for stripes. SMH. YZFMIK, I love the white stripes on red. But like you said I'm afraid to go with white because of the black top, it just wouldn't look right. I believe I'll probably go with black (don't know the width/size) but if i do I'd definitely have to go with a black hood scoop.

We had another post last week where a guy with a car just like yours was debating white stripes. Personally, with the black top I think it would look wayyyy to busy with full stripes, with one exception, That exception is to stripe another shade of red as the stripe color. I've seen orange, black, blue, and silver cars pull it off, so why can't a red car do it to?

I also think your car would look sweet sporting black Foose stripes outlined in silver.
