"Shaved" Front Bumper?

RE: "Shaved" Front Bumper?
There was a guy on here a long time back who I believe was in the process of shaving the front plate mount.
If any one remembers who I'm talking about, he's the guy who took a jig saw to his roof for the "open top" []

You can do it yourself at very little cost. Just purchase a take off , Sand the paint and primer down to bare plastic then start layering fiberglass. When you get the desired thickness start shaping it. Last but not least a thin coat of bondo to smooth everything out . Important thing is to use a straight edge to help make you lines tight.
There are probaby other ways you could do it like fusing two together with some of that automotive grade epoxy used in body work and fiberglassing the bach side for strength but this would probably be the cheapest.
