If that IS the Mystery 8 hood, I think I've got my answer now, thanks.

Yes, that is the Mystery 8 hood and nose piece. FangPerformance was the one who did it originally. They sold it to another company or were bought out. My car was used on the web site for the kit before I made the grill. I love it!! Makes the car look very aggressive. It really turns heads.

I like that. One of my dislikes about that hood is how close the intake is to the edge of the hood. But with that extension, I think it looks a lot better. Like this...

Exactly! I am crazy about the 1968 Shelbys and wanted to build a retro,, modern,,personal one. I can not afford a real 68.

For those of you who aren't so familliar with my car, here are a few (crappy) pics of my newest mods. Foose spoiler, Foose side skirts, and Foose rear bumper. There are some older, better pics at the bottom.

I really love how clean those Foose sideskirts make an s197 look. Where they much lower to the ground then stock? I would really consider getting some but I worry about clearance issues.

xtremesaleen,
Thanks man. I have tried really hard to perfect it and I'm finished with it now. The only thing I will do now is leather seats and a supercharger one day.

Ato,
The Foose side skirts are 1" lower than stock. I am at 4.5" from the ground in the lowest spot, and that's with Eibach Pros. I am afraid my source to get Foose parts has dried up though, so if you want a set you're going to have to work some magic. They were really cheap though...I think I paid $75 per side and they were pre-painted too (just not the color I needed)
