Default MGP Caliper Covers - What are your thoughts?

Ive been seeing these spring up recently and decided to check up on them....if you are like me, then you are absolutely IN LOVE with the look for a big brake kit for our cars....the only problem i have is fronting the $1k+ for the kit....i am starting to get tired of having to clean up all the brake dust every car wash and also having to repaint the calipers, but if i had no choice but to keep doing it all, i would, but thats neither here nor there...anyways, i dug up some info, what do you guys think of it?

that vid about midway down is pretty cool too....

My calipers are already chipping... so it looks good to me! I might have to consider those!

For The Loss?

i dont think any of us would be doing any road racing to use the brakes that often and if you WERE doing some road racing you would already have a big brake kit installed.....

in the video, you can see that its pretty much only a veneer for the brakes...its just a plate that covers the outside half of the caliper...there is still plenty of vent space.....

Way too damn costly......and a lil on the cheesy side, IMO. G2 Paint holds up really really well, and is 30 bucks.

well ive given it some thought and have veered from them since even though they are a good idea, it just looks too fake for my taste....

good choice. your car looks too clean to do something cheap like that.
