Great Write Up! I did the same thing last summer. You are gonna love the feel of the new steering wheel. It's a major improvement!

Would you all mind me asking how much a wheel like that goes for and the best place to pick one up?

I picked up mine from a close friend, however do a search on the ford part number and you will come across some sites. You will possible pay around $380 to $450 for the wheel, or the wheel/boot combo.

Thats very cool. Is that wheel any smaller than the stock wheel??

I was thinking of getting a momo wheel but would prefer this one if it was smaller!

nice write up, very easy to change steering wheel, i did it over a year ago without a problem, i was just worried the bag would blow in my face...luckily it didnt

Thanks for the write up. Was toying with the idea of replacing the center cap when I get my 05-07 for one off of the 10 gt. Will be easier than i thought to do it if I can find one.

were did you get the wheel? oh and how much did it set you back? i've been looking to get a s197 for a little while now and the only think i really don't like about them is the stock steering wheel and the svt one is perfect.
