Can the airbag cover itself be swapped from airbag to airbag? Or is the airbag one piece with the cover as well?

what is the torque spec for the two side bolts that hold the airbag down?

I cant find the answer..

i know the center one is 41 ft lb ..

62 in-lbs. I just swapped my steering wheel yesterday, so the information is still fresh in my memory.

i installed the boss 302 steering wheel into my 2010 mustang v6 base model (the original steering wheel is the cheap rubber and only had cruise control buttons ONLY)

after installation completed, all the buttons light up, but my cruise control buttons still do not work. (i know all the other buttons would not work as well)

From what I understand, the cruise control buttons are still supposed to work after the swap right ?

Just did the swap yesterday. The side bolts is really easy to remove. It really does feel like 5.17 ft-lb bolt.


stupid me.

cruise control can only be activated when car is in motion, and at a minimum speed of ~40mph .

I was able to activate cruise control when I actually started driving the car in the morning

This is great, I'm going to have to find a wheel with red stitching... Another thing though, is it possible to fit a wheel with stereo controls into a Mustang without a wheel with stereo controls or is that a whole world of hurt?
