You could start by reading the whole thread.
I found post #23 to be the most valuable one.

Are you referring to the dome lights?
If so, squeeze and pop off the plastic cover. Super easy!

I put in a set of cheap Ebay LED's this weekend. They look great but like others have said.... they stay on very dimly even when turned off.

After perusing some other car forums, it seems some people bought bulbs that don't have this behavior, but I couldn't find a specific link to get them.

So has anyone gotten (cheap) dome led's that actually turn off completely, and if so, where?

Thanks!

I got mine on Amazon.com for 6.99 for 4 of them.
These do not stay on afterwards. They are not quite as bright as I thought they would be, but honestly - any brighter and they would be obnoxious.

Next up - license and/or trunk lights.

Well... I tried those and they also stay on (dimly). I may have gotten a different model from you. I did find another pair that also stays on, but the light is really good, and they are so dim when they're off that it doesn't bother me.
