So far I've been lucky with them (don't know which is the 1181).
No more prep than our original hoods.
They don't need blocking, so bodyshops don't have to charge their customers extra labor...

AMEN!!! My Trufiber hood was horrible when I received it! 16 hours of labor just for prep and it still isnt perfect! It cost me about 1200 for prep and hood pins. (not including any paint)

I can relate to him...
I got hurt the first couple of times... no more.

This GT500 I worked on is now in Belgium, with the hood unpainted and I made sure of that
I did meet the painter that will prep it, during my trip last month, and I told him all the good things he's gonna look forward to, lol.
