Default Need some crafty advice

So I got the 2 piece billet overlay grill for my v6 cheap off of craigslist and the main grill is installed and looks really great (i can post pics if anyone is curious). Problem comes with the lower grill, since it doesn't exist anymore...I hit something on the freeway and now my honeycomb is gone meaning I have nothing to mount my billet overlay on except the for what the honeycomb was on before it. I considered 3M taping it to the top of the opening but that opening is at a tighter angle than the grill is bent, meaning it will eventually pop out from the force of trying to get into shape. Anybody have any ideas? I can post pics of the grill itself and of the gap without the honeycomb if it will help. Thanks.

EDIT: By the way, i did ask my dealership how much it'd be to buy new honeycomb and they said they'd have to special order it fr $50, which i really would rather not do

My friend said to consider zip ties, which i almost immediately shot down because i knew that if you could see it all it would look terrible. But now I remember that i can loop the ties around the vertical bars that are behind the horizontal bars. If the ties are black, no one would ever notice. It wouldn't hurt to try...

I used zipties to hold on my lower grill when I had the V6 front end on, it can be done...
