Exclamation Splitter Under a CDC Spoiler: Anyone? (FR500S, FR500GT)

I was wondering if anyone (recently or at all) has tried to install a splitter under their front spoiler?

This could be a GT500 splitter or custom one under a CDC spoiler- much like the Mustang Challenge cars.

Is it me or does that 1st car look like it has a huge tail end?

I suppose that the supports are a separate buy, but Ford Racing may sell a kit. I am just wondering if anyone has done it?

And, yes, the rear spoiler is very tall, but effective (per the wind tunnel testing done).

G-Stream: http://www.g-stream.com/Gallery.html

I'd love to be able to actually see one of these in person.

That's what I'm talking about- thanks. The price is a tad high though. I mean- splitters get beat up when racing. Spending $900+ on one seems a little ridiculous.

No problem. I kind of thought the same thing. It looks pretty good and would help with airflow obviously, but $900 is $900.

Check with www.aprperformance.com, they also sell splitters. Was quoted around $340, and they have some templates for cdc chins.

A splitter w/support rods is something I wanna get some day. I think it looks cool even though I'll never race my car.

I just noticed the cars in the pics have 4 hood pins. Never seen that many being used before.

At first they only had two, but they lost a few hoods at Daytona the first year during the Koni challenge race.
