I think flat black would have a more aggressive contrast with the red. I'm not sure if there's a difference in cleaning.

matte would look much cooler however it is a little bit harder to keep clean then the gloss. Also more prone to scratches and scuffs. I have matte black and I get nothing but compliments on how cool they look.

I have a candy apple red stang and I'd go with the gloss black super snake stripe. Gloss has more shine to it, which means it'll pop more. A gloss vinyl has a more natural, painted look to it, making it harder to tell that you have a vinyl stripe on your vehicle. It just blends and shines better. But that's my opinion

Either way you go, you picked a KILLER stripe to put on!

Gloss Black I think would look better, but you can't really go wrong either way

I'm for flat black, it's not that hard to clean, carwash soap is fine, just don't wax it! I use aerospace 303 on mine for UV protection and also makes water bead on it, good stuff!

I'm for flat (matte) black also.

I have them and love them. You see gloss black everywhere you go. Looks good yes, but matte black looks great and also gives a meaner look with more character in my opinion.

By the way Starfire... I ordered some of that 303 and I should be receiving it today ;P
