Door Panel Leather Sagging - **FIX**
#131
That's the way mine started. Appeared to be where my elbow rides against the door. Give it a few months, it will start peeling.

Ill be doing this at some point soon. The edges of mine are held in pretty tight by the welting I have but the middle is already fairly loose. Just gotta find some time where im not at school and not busy...

I'm getting sick of fixing mine. In 10 months I've had my GT, I've fixed each door 6 times. Tried 3M Super 77, stripping and cleaning and re-applying adhesive. The rubber adhesive. All of it. Nothing absolutely stays stuck.
No more, Texas heat and cold (or lack thereof - this is a weird freaking winter) just won't leave my leather alone. Tired of my hard, gray, door panels anyway. Gonna see what some plasti-dip and my tax return can do to work some sort of magic on my interior.

CALL FORD!!
I have the same problem in my 2007 GT! I just got off the phone with Ford's customer service line and she stated that there is NOT YET a recall for this particular problem on the mustangs but if enough people make them aware that it is a recurring problem, it will become a recall! This also means that if you previously paid a Ford dealership to repair the problem, you will be reimbursed as long as you have the original receipt. Hope this helps! Great DIY video, I'm not about to pay someone $300 per door at Ford to fix this (the quote I received)!
